Drum Hire

Not only do we make outstanding hand made drums, but HighWood offers a full Drum Hire Service, be it for a studio session, one off gig, all day event or multi day festival, if you need drum back line in Yorkshire, we have drums ready to go.

we cover 2 distinct fields of equipment hire from 2 sites covering all Yorkshire & in some cases beyond.

Live – (available from Wakefield, West Yorkshire)
Full kit hire for gigs, festivals & any live appearance. need a kit for a one off gig, have a festival or all day event & need backline setup’s for all the bands to use to save swap overs, we can provide full kits including hardware available for hire by the day (24hrs), weekend, or week.

Studio/Session – (available from Barnsley, South Yorkshire)
Recording an album, demo or similar & need more variety, perhaps your own gear is not as good as you would prefer? we have access a large collection of snares, both HighWood & other brands, vintage classics & rare items, that can be hired by arrangement, kits can also be arranged on request.

How it works
1) You contact us giving us full details of what you require, giving as much notice as possible before the date needed.

2) We make arrangements & confirm your request.

3) I.D & a deposit is needed along with the hire fee upfront (deposits can be placed by cash Or we can pre-authorize a credit card for the deposit amount via google checkout, all you need is an email address & valid credit/debit card)

4) Collection is made day before or on the day of the arranged hire, Delivery & return can be arranged at additional cost.

5) Hire goods are returned on a pre-arranged date, upon inspection, deposits will be returned in full providing the drums & accessories have all been returned without signs of abuse or misuse. if any damage, signs of misuse/excessive wear  is discovered, or failure to return any part of hire equipment, the relevant amount to cover repairs & replacements will be deducted from your cash deposit or charged to the pre-authorized card..

  • Snares available for all kits if required.

Hardware

  • Std  Gibraltar hardware pack (snare stand, cymbal boom stand, cymbal stand, hi hat stand, bass pedal)
  • Flat Base Gibraltar pack  (snare stand, Hi hat, 2 Cymbal boom, 2 staight, Bass pedal)

Snare Hire

  • Single snares are also available.

Studio/Session Hire (available from Barnsley, South Yorkshire)

In association with Bob Wynne & Rhythm Inc. HighWood can offer a whole variety of snares for any studio recording session OR if you want something specific for a live appearance there is a wide range to chose from.

Hire Pricing
Depending on the items fees may vary, discounted rates for 24 hours + are available on application.
Snares available from £20 per day
Kits available from £40 per day
Hardware + £10 onto kit hire price
Cymbals – it is generally accepted drummers bring their own breakables to gigs, however if cymbals are needed esp in the case of sessions/studio use these can be provided.
